Wrestling heads to Eagle Hill School in Hardwick, Massachusetts for the EIL Championships this weekend. The team is fresh off a win against Beaver Country Day School last Saturday. Connor Simeone ’25 is slated to be one of the top seeds in the tournament. Good luck, Warriors!

Swimming has had a short hiatus these past two weeks with a pair of cancellations; however, the team is eager to take on Thayer Academy and Milton Academy at PODS this Saturday. The meet will start promptly at 3pm. 

Squash dropped a match at Portsmouth Abbey on Tuesday and will hit the courts again next Wednesday when the Warriors travel to St. Andrew’s. Senior Day is slated for Friday, Feb. 12 at Agawam versus Beaver Country Day, 

Indoor Track‘s Autumn Allen ’27 competed last weekend at the Harvard Invitational, where she broke the Wheeler 400m school record. Anaya Wilson ’26 continues her breakout season, throwing another school record in the shot put. At the Freshmen States, Jackie Sousa ’28 placed second in the shot put. Maddie Bryan ’28 completed a PR in the long jump for fifth place, and Hoyt Hottel ’28 placed fifth in the high jump.

Girls Basketball Coach Tamara Tardy reports that Addie Moffett ’29, Seher Nadeem ’27, and Annalise Hait ’26 have done a wonderful job embracing the team’s core values - be a warrior everyday, be disciplined, and stay connected through communication, respectively. She says, “Addie is helping us lay the foundation for greater things to come. She always does more than what is asked of her. Seher gives 110% in practice every day, embodies defense, and is a great teammate on and off the court. Annalise continues to improve every day, has established a presence on the defensive end of the court, and conveys leadership qualities by encouraging players to be the best version of themselves each day.” The team hosts Mt. St. Charles at 5pm this Friday at Madden Gym.
