Wrestling competed in their first-ever match in school history at Lexington Christian Academy on Wednesday. Ryan Kittredge ’28 captured Wheeler’s first match win, wrestling at the 113 lb. weight class. You can check out that video HERE and a picture of the team HERE.
Girls Basketball begins their 2024-2025 basketball campaign with an Eastern Independent League game at Bancroft School in Worcester at 4:30pm. The team will have their home opener at Madden Gym on Saturday at 5pm against NEPSAC Class D finalist Vermont Academy.
Boys Basketball opened the season with a three-point overtime win at Gann Academy on Wednesday. The Warriors were led by Drew Herren ’28 and King Tiah ’27, who both put up double figures. Mac Sparks ’27 came up with all nine of his points on three consecutive three-pointers in the second half to bring the team to life. The Warriors travel to Hamden Hall Country Day on Saturday and are slated for a 4pm start.
Squash traveled to Pomfret School and defeated the Griffins 10-6 in the coed match (7-2 in the official ladder), which pushed the Warriors to 1-0 on the season. The team travels to St. Andrew’s School next Wednesday to take on the Saints!
Swimming hits the water on Sunday at Phillips Andover for their inaugural meet of the year. The event is an invitational, which will feature some of the strongest swimmers in New England. The Warriors are coming off a terrific 2023-2024 campaign, with the Boys team winning the EIL Championship and placing second at the NEPSSA Championships and the Girls placing third in the EIL and third at the NEPSSA Championships.
The Indoor Track season has officially begun! With a packed roster and a staff of coaches with specialty backgrounds, the season should be an exciting one. You can find an updated schedule for the team HERE.

Alumni Soccer and Basketball games came together over Thanksgiving Recess. On Friday at Wheeler Farm, alums spanning over two decades came together for an enjoyable morning of games and camaraderie.

The Boys Swim program has captured FIVE league championships since 2016. The program, which started in 2013, has grown in popularity and success on both the boys' and girls' sides. And . . . the team will have their very own pool for meets when our new aquatics center at Wheeler Farm opens next school year!
