Cross Country begins an exciting eight-day stretch this Friday, which will include a pair of championship races. On Friday, the Warriors are set to host the Eastern Independent League Championship at Chase Farms in Lincoln. The boys' race is set for 2:30pm and the girls' race is at 3:15pm with a trophy presentation to follow. On Saturday, Nov. 9, the Warriors will travel to the Canterbury School to participate in the NEPSTA Division III Championships. Be sure to follow the Cross Country Instagram page for updates!
Golf is also championship-bound, when they head to Sandy Burr Country Club (Wayland, MA) to participate in the Eastern Independent League Championship on Tuesday, Nov. 5. You can find more information about the event HERE.
Girls Soccer hosts Kents Hill School as part of Senior Day celebrations at 10am this Saturday on Godley Field. The Warriors will honor Niya Neves ’25, Anna Pizzarello ’25, Rory Hall ’25, and Mercy Flomo ’25. Looking for a preview of the event? Check out this video!
Field Hockey celebrated Senior Day on Monday against Montrose School and came away with a 3-0 win. The team honored Elena Rust ’25, Hannah Pell ’25, Ella DiBari ’25, Emma Routhier ’25, and Zoe Weiss ’25. On Friday, the team captured a 1-0 win on the road at Mt. St. Charles and pushed their record to 11-5-1. The 11 wins are the most by a Wheeler Field Hockey team since the 2019 championship squad.
Boys Soccer punched their ticket to the Eastern Independent League playoffs last week with a 2-2 tie against Pingree School. The team followed that up with a competitive 3-2 loss at Dexter-Southfield on Wednesday night, which moved the Warriors to 9-4-2 on the season. As the team closes out the season with home games against Kents Hill (12pm Saturday) and Marianapolis (6:30pm Wednesday), they’re patiently waiting for their seeding in the playoffs.
Volleyball hosts Bancroft School on Monday at the farm as part of their Senior Day festivities. The volleyball seniors being honored are Nia Johnson ’25 and Zoe Tyrrell ’25. With three games remaining in the season, the Warriors will host Bancroft (11/4) and travel to Mt. St. Charles (11/1) and Marianapolis (11/6) to close out the year.
The co-op Football team moved to 3-3 on the season with a 26-25 loss at Smithfield HS. The team travels to Pierce Field for a 6pm contest on Halloween against Davies to close out their regular season.

The Girls Soccer team reached the NEPSAC Class C Championship on two occasions in 2008 and 2010, where they lost to St. Luke’s School (New Canaan, CT) and The Groton School (Groton, MA) by one goal in each match. The 2010 team, along with the 2011 team, accumulated a combined record of 37 wins and 4 losses en route to capturing back-to-back SENEISAA Championships, too. During the two years, the Warriors went undefeated in league play and did not yield a single goal to a league opponent. In fact, over the entire 41 games, the program outscored its competition 180 to 11.
