The addition of Middle School Pickleball has been . . . phenomenal! Two days a week our Upper School Tennis Coach Jeff Hedden is guiding 25 middle schoolers in Wheeler’s first outdoor pickleball activities at the farm. We are hoping to create some excitement outside of Wheeler with other schools that might be interested in putting a small league together for next fall. Coach Hedden reports, “I’ve been excited about the outright enthusiasm for the kids to learn how to play properly. Also how they want to challenge each other in competition and how they’re already looking forward to facing other schools!”
