Squash captured their first win of the season with a 9-3 win at St. Andrew’s. The Warriors travel to St. George’s on Saturday for a full slate of Varsity and JV matches!
Wrestling traveled to Concord Academy on Monday to participate in a quad meet against the hosts, Beaver Country Day, and Chapel Hill Chauncy Hall. The Warriors came up with wins against Beaver and Chapel Hill, but ultimately fell to Concord in a hard-fought match. A handful of Warriors will compete over the weekend at South Kingstown High School against local public school competition.
The Swim team hits the water for their opener today when they host Austin Prep for a dual meet at Pods Aquatic Center. Please note that this meet was changed from a Wednesday away meet to a Thursday home meet.
Girls Basketball took on Phillips Exeter on Sunday at the NERR Girls Basketball College Showcase Event at Milton Academy. The Warriors displayed a strong showing, falling to the Class A powerhouse by a mere six points, 63-57. You can read more about the player of the game, Danielle Davidson ’30, HERE. The team recovered quickly with an impressive 68-54 win over reigning EIL Champion Beaver Country Day. The Warriors (2-1) take the court again at the farm this Saturday against Pingree School. Tip-off is slated for 3:30pm.
Indoor Track travels to the PCTA this Saturday for their season opener, with events starting at 5:30pm. Looking ahead, the Warriors will have a busy weekend at the start of Winter Break, when they travel to Boston to take part in the Beantown Winter Classic at the New Balance Facility on Saturday, Dec. 20, and Sunday, Dec. 21.
Boys Basketball pushed its record to 3-0 with wins over Williams School (67-54) and St. Andrew’s School (51-46) over the last week. The Warriors travel to Bath, Maine, on Friday to participate in Hyde School’s 34th Annual James Roman Tournament. The team takes on Hebron Academy at 8:30pm in the opening round.
